When life becomes confusing, trust in God to direct your path!

Posted on 04 May, 2011 | 1 Comment

It has been quite a while since I’ve posted on this blog. With school and trying to graduate with my B.S. in Informatics, life has become pretty hectic. I hope to start up with this blog again. With that said, Graduation is almost here! Friday is the day I walk…and it still doesn’t feel real. I still have a load of things to accomplish before I reach any of the goals, and all of these future plans and ideas tend to be overwhelming at times.

When life seems overwhelming or I’m unsure of what to do, I rely on my Faith in God. There’s tons of scripture that can help with a wavering heart. Especially, when we don’t know where we’ll be or what will happen when thinking about the future. Remember that God always has a plan for His children! God’s Word says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11, New International Version).

When we are struck by fear because of the unknown, trust in God and He will direct your path. God’s Word says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, New International Version). We may not see the path or why events happen to us, but we shoudn’t be afraid to keep walking with Faith in the Lord. Walking by Faith is where it’s at! There’s no better way to live life than to have Faith in God. “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7, English Standard Version). While being careful at life is a good thing, don’t stop living if you can’t see the direction you’re heading. Stick to glorifying God with your life, and He’ll keep an eye out for you. Proverbs 5:21 says, “For your ways are in full view of the LORD, and he examines all your paths” (New International Version).

This is only a small bit of God’s Word that shows He’s looking out for all of us, and that we shouldn’t worry or dwell on the future. I hope this reaches you guys as much as it has helped me to calm down my pondering thoughts about the future.
